Chris Evans’ dog may be on the cusp of becoming a bigger star than the “Captain America” actor.
The Boston native took a break from weighing in on politics and bashing President Donald Trump on Twitter this week to share an adorable video of his beloved pet pooch Dodger. On Tuesday, Evans tweeted out a cute clip of his dog howling along to the classic tune “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.”
Dodger couldn’t resist joining in on the song, which was being played from his favorite stuffed lion toy.
“This is Dodger’s stuffed lion. He loves it. He brings it everywhere,” Evans wrote in his tweet. “If you press it’s paw, it sings. Today, Dodger decided to join in.”

It’s nice to see Dodger doing well, especially after Evans caused a bit of a panic over the summer when some fans thought that the dog had died after reading a cryptic tweet from the “Avengers” star. Evans quickly shut that down though, as the social media post was just meant to express his sadness over being seperated from Dodger while filming.
To be clear, he’s alive and well, just thousands of miles away for the next couple months.

After 10 long weeks, Evans and Dodger finally reunited back in September and have pretty much been inseperable ever since.
