Jordin Sparks is just another brave woman willing to procreate during the precarious Trump administration. That’s right. The “American Idol” alum is expecting and, by the way? She also got married while you weren’t looking. Sneaky!
People reports that the 27-year-old secretly wed 25-year-old aspiring model Dana Isaiah in July, surrounded by the sights of Hawaii and a small group of close friends. And she’s so happy to talk about it!
“We’re both really excited,” she told the magazine. “He’s been like, ‘I want to shout it from the mountain tops!’ We’re really proud to be married to each other and to be celebrating this.”
Sparks met Isaiah’s family in February and after a whirlwind long-distance romance, the now-couple met face to face in April. “A couple days after we had actually met, I was like in my head ‘That’s going to be my husband! That’s my husband right there.’” Sounds too soon, but what do we know about love!? That’s right, nothing.
