R&B star Ciara announced on “The View” on Tuesday that she and her fiance, rapper Future, are expecting a child.
Barbara Walters — who, during the first few minutes of the interview, kept looking at the singer’s torso — addressed Ciara in typical Barbara Walters fashion, saying, “There are rumors about pregnancy. Do you want to confirm?”
And as Barbara Walters is wont to do, she got results.
Ciara told the 84-year-old news veteran, “Of course, I would love to” and stood up to show a baby bump that she had previously kept covered (she came out in a long beige vest that covered the bump) and the bump was not visible while she was sitting on the couch with the other “View” hostesses.
But as she revealed, she appears to be very pregnant! Read: She no longer looks quite like she does in the photo above. That said, she did positively seem to be glowing!
This is the first child for the 28-year-old singer. She and Future became engaged last October, and Ciara says they plan to marry this year.
