Cocktail of the Week: Front Porch Peach Tea

Cocktail-Peach tea

Ah, summer! To us, nothing encapsulates the warmest season of the year quite like than a lazy afternoon on the porch with a glass of iced tea (but maybe that’s the wannabe Southerner in us talking). Take a sip of summer with this refreshing cocktail, which features a true Southern spirit — moonshine. The distillation of moonshine is legal in Tennessee, and the shining star in the recipe, Ole Smoky Moonshine, was Tennessee’s first legal jar. But just because you can’t make it yourself here doesn’t mean you can’t buy it: Ole Smoky Moonshine is available in all five boroughs.

Front Porch Peach Tea
• 2 parts Ole Smoky Peach Moonshine
• 1 part sweet tea
• 1 part lemonade
Garnish:
Sliced peaches or mint

Combine Ole Smoky Peach Moonshine, sweet tea and lemonade with ice in a glass or pitcher and stir. Garnish with fresh sliced peaches or mint, if desired. Serve in mason jars for an authentic Southern look.
