This one has been a long time coming. The lyrical misfits over at Epic Rap Battles of History pit fantasy fiction's two great authors with too many middle initials against each other, as "Lord of the Rings" creator J. R. R. Tolkien takes on "Game of Thrones" titan George R. R. Martin.
And it gets really real, really fast. "We all know the world is full of chance and anarchy, so yes it's true to life for characters to die randomly," Tolkien raps. "But news flash, the genre's called fantasy. It's meant to be unrealistic, you myopic manatee." That's a sick burn, J. R. R.
