I guess it's been long enough since Patrick Dempsey's unceremonious exit from "Grey's Anatomy" that we can all laugh about it — especially given all the gossip about his character being killed off because he was just too difficult to work with.
"Everybody thought because Patrick was leaving that it wouldn't do well, but it's doing very well," star Ellen Pompeo tells Ellen DeGeneres about how the long-running series is holding up. "It's amazing how much you get done without a penis."
Oh. Oh my. Ma'am, you certainly have a way with words. Dempsey's ears — or something — must be burning right now.
