Eminem wants to make it clear that reports of him being stabbed have been greatly exaggerated. His rep is dismissing Facebook post purporting to show the singer “left nearly dead after being stabbed four times in NYC,” according to E! News.
“Not true,” the rep says. “He remains un-stabbed.” And it turns out this wasn’t just another false Internet rumor about a celebrity dying or getting injured: The post also subjected those foolish enough to click on it to an avalanche of spam.
How sad is it that the first time I’ve heard of Eminem in years is through fake Facebook stabbing spam?
