The days of standing outside for three days straight at sweltering Summer music festivals has officially passed us by. But that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on great live music as it becomes jean jacket weather. Here is our complete Fall concert guide for the best shows coming to your neck of the woods in the upcoming months.

Childish Gambino – Fall Concert Guide 

It’s been a wild few years for Donald Glover. From writing starring and directing in his own FX show Atlanta, playing Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars film Solo, and releasing one of the most compelling R&B albums of the last decade Awaken My Love under his music project, Childish Gambino, he’s kind of scratched everything off of his bucket list. Oh, and we nearly forgot to mention the “This is America” video. But you’ve probably seen that already. Childish Gambino is in the middle of a big tour that will be hitting the East Coast this month with Rae Sremmurd.

Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival – Fall Concert Guide 

Although he is just wrapping up a tour with fellow music legend, Van Morrison, Willie Nelson has never been one to wait around to long before jumping onto the next thing. This fall, he is bringing his Outlaw Music Festival on the road with a laundry list of some of the most exciting acts in Americana today. Bands will vary from date to date and include Sturgill Simpson, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Luka Nelson and the Promise of the Real, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and even Van Morrison just to name a few.

David Byrne – Fall Concert Guide 

The Talking Heads founder and art-rock and indie rock forefather have been dazzling crowds with his newest stage show touring behind his solo album American Utopia from earlier this year. With a completely mobile stage setup that has each member of his band playing their instruments in “marching band” formation in order to perform choreographed dance moves to each song, this tour is not to be missed out on.

Ed Sheeran – Fall Concert Guide 

The one-man band and “Shape of You” singer Ed Sheeran will be bringing his tour through to stadiums across the east coast this month. Sheeran will be supporting his last release, 2017’s Divide, so maybe he will be debuting some of those lo-fi Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska inspired songs he hinted at in interviews last December?

Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience  Fall Concert Guide 

Fans of the wildly popular HBO show are losing their minds with anticipation for the show’s final season after an entire year without a trip back to the Westeros. Well with the show slated to return for its concluding season in early 2019, it’s safe to say that “winter is … right around the corner”. To get fans even more pumped, The Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience will be touring the country this Fall with a full orchestra lead by the show’s composer Ramin Djawadi.

Florence and the Machine  Fall Concert Guide 

Florence Welch has one of the biggest voices in pop music. So no matter where you see her sing, it is bound to be an epic event. Her band, Florence and the Machine, will be hitting the road in support of this year’s album High as Hope with some amazing support from Grizzly Bear in Boston, and modern Jazz great Kamasi Washington in both Brooklyn and Philly.

Gorillaz – Fall Concert Guide 

Damon Albarn’s genre-defying cartoon character band Gorillaz released their long-awaited sixth album The Now Now and will bringing their spectacle of a live show to cities up and down the East Coast in October. They be bringing along some great support as well with The Internet opening both their Philly and Brooklyn dates and Little Dragon supporting in Boston.

Nine Inch Nails w/ Jesus and the Mary Chain – Fall Concert Guide 

Nine Inch Nails just released a trio of fantastic EPs that all harken back to their forward thinking and punishingly intense brand of Industrial tinged Alternative Rock. They’ll be playing a few dates this fall with shoegaze pioneers the Jesus and the Mary Chain along for the ride.

This year has been huge for Travis Scott.
