Although Cory Monteith was laid to rest Tuesday in a small ceremony in Vancouver with his immediate family and girlfriend Lea Michele, his friends plan to remember the star in Los Angeles, the actor’s home base for many years.
In Touch reports that Monteith’s friends are putting together a low-key memorial service for the “Glee” actor at his house.
“Everyone is going to tell funny stories and bring photos,” a source tells the magazine, noting that the invitation was sent via Facebook.
Meanwhile, in Vancouver, fans of the star will be remembering Monteith with a candlelight vigil outside of Vancouver’sFairmont Pacific Rim hotel, where the star was found dead Saturday from an overdose.
