Genevieve Sabourin: Woman arrested for stalking Alec Baldwin outside his NYC apartment

Everybody’s favorite New Yorker, the Twitter-happy Alec Baldwin, had a near-brush with potential danger last night after an alleged stalker tried to confront him.

According to TMZ, Canadian actress Genevieve Sabourin, 40, was arrested after she showed up outside Baldwin’s NYC apartment in an attempt to speak to him — for the third time in two weeks.

After Sabourin’s first two attempts at making contact with Baldwin (once at his home in the Hamptons, and again at an event at the Lincoln Center), he notified his doorman of the persistent woman. When Sabourin showed up at Baldwin’s apartment last night, the doorman immediately notified Baldwin, who then alerted the NYPD. She was arrested for aggravated harassment and stalking.

“As you know, stalking is a serious issue, so we’ve turned this matter over to the New York Police Department,” Baldwin’s rep told TMZ.

Sabourin reportedly met Baldwin on the set of “The Adventures of Pluto Nash” in 2002, but it wasn’t until recently that things got weird. TMZ reports she started texting and emailing Baldwin asking to borrow money and claiming she wants to have his baby.

Doesn’t Sabourin know he’s off the market?
