Applying for jobs is the worst. Which is why it’s kind of amusing to know that Gwyneth Paltrow feels our pain. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer talked to the New York Times magazine about the big changes going on over at Yahoo.com, and she revealed that did not even consider hiring Gwyneth Paltrow to help revamp their food content. Even though Paltrow has launched the successul food enterprise that is Goop and put out a cookbook, she isn’t up to snuff when it comes to what Mayer is looking for in a Yahoo employee. Mayer’s logic? Paltrow hasn’t even gone to college. Better work on that resume, Paltrow. It doesn’t look like Mayer will be singing a different tune anytime soon.
