In 1964, designer and photo Joel Katz, then a 21-year-old Yale student, spent seven weeks in Mississippi taking photographs. Almost 50 years later, he just published “And I Said No Lord: A 21–year–old in Mississippi in 1964.” Katz and historian Randall Miller will talk about the book and show photos.
