If you just hear those sleigh bells ringing and ring-ting-tingling, it’s nothing without the “click, click, click” of the Rockettes during the “Radio City Christmas Spectacular.”
From the moment you enter the festively bedecked lobby of the Wang Theatre, there really is a feeling of holiday cheer in the air. And if you’re not getting it, check out the faces of the kids clutching their over-sized bag of Twizzlers as they excitedly make their way to their seats.
Clearly, it’s the Rockettes who put the “Spectacular” into this show with their impeccably executed precision-tap routines. With more than 300 high-kicks, the dazzlingly leggy dancers tap their way through an incredible Parade of the Wooden Soldiers and a delightful visit to Santa’s Workshop, where the rag dolls come alive and dance.
