Ice Cube closes out Afropunk Festival 2016

Thousands of people came together in Brooklyn to see Afropunk to see some of the best music artists in the world for two-day festival that embraces music, art, culture, and freedom of expression.

The rules of the festival are clear and simple and are hung each side of the main stages: No sexism, racism, ableism, ageism, homophobia, fatphobia, transphobia, and no hatefulness is tolerated at the event.

This year, hip-hop legend closed out the two day music festival by performing many of his classic songs. He also brought out original members from the group N.W.A to perform.

Ice Cube shocked the crowd when he brought out his son and star of the movie “Straight Outta Compton” came out to perform with him on stage.

The good people over at Instagramdebuted an Interactivephoto grid for Afropunk and made sure they highlighted some of the best moments and fashion looks from this year’s festival.
