J. Cole left some fans hopeful and others heartbroken this weekend at the end of his set at Meadows Fest in Queens over the weekend. He told the audience “Before I get out of here, listen. This is my last show for a very long time.” Some thought this meant that the rapper was announcing his retirement, while others anticipate him hunkering down in the studio to produce some new music. Maybe he’s just having a little nip tuck and will back refreshed in 6 to 8 weeks. Kidding. But this wasn’t the only thing that had fans of artist who was born in Frankfurt, West Germany, talking. On Tuesday night, J. Cole’s Twitter account was hacked, subjecting his over 8 million followers to ridiculous song titles (Smokin On Dat Phizzurp Pack) and conspiracy theories about Kim Kardashian faking being robbed. Weird. We’re not holding our breath for a response from J. Cole since the rapper hasn’t actually tweeted since March.
