Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin to reunite (without Dolly Parton) for Netflix

Jane Fonda disappeared from movie screens for 15 years, content to do killer ab work and step aerobics on the small screen. She’s not exactly everywhere now, and her choices for her comeback have not always been, shall we say, good (“Monster-in-Law,” “Georgia Rule” with Lindsay Lohan — though she slew as Nancy Reagan in “Lee Daniels’ The Butler”).

So now’s the time for some real nostalgia: Fonda will be reuniting with her “9 to 5” costar Lily Tomlin for “Grace and Frankie,” a single camera comedy about nemeses brought together when their respective husbands announce they’re in love and will get married. It’s the latest Netflix show, meaning you’ll be able to either watch the whole thing in one glutinous sit or abandon it after a single episode and click on “‘Crocodile’ Dundee II” instead.

Where’s Dolly Parton, you ask? She could stand a screen comeback, being as her last appearance was in the gospel-country musical “Joyful Noise.” As such, she possibly feels like John Paul Jones did when Robert Plant and Jimmy Page reunited Led Zeppelin without him in 1994. (But there’s probably a perfectly understandable reason Parton isn’t joining them. And perhaps she’ll even make a guest appearance, thus nixing this entire graf.)

The 13 episode run will premiere next year, just in time for you to finally power through every single one of the thousands of TV show Netflix houses that you always meant to watch.
