Did Joan Rivers go too far this time?

Joan Rivers is known for her brazen comments, but many are saying she crossed the line recently when she called First Lady Michelle Obama a “tranny.”
The “Fashion Police” host was caught on camera entering her hotel while on tour promoting her book, “Diary of a Mad Diva.” When asked by a reporter if she thought the U.S. would ever see a gay or woman president, Rivers responded saying, “We already have it with Obama, so let’s just calm down. You know Michelle is a tranny.” After appearing shocked, the interviewer asked Rivers to repeat herself to which she replied, “A transgender. We all know. It’s OK.”
