Jon Hamm says remarks about Kim Kardashian being stupid were ‘accurate’

The war of words between TV heartthrob Jon Hamm and reality diva Kim Kardashian is once again heating up.

It all started when the “Mad Men” star told Elle UK that “stupidity is being celebrated” and that “being a f—ing idiot is a valuable commodity,” in reference to Kim Kardashian.

In an attempt at a “classy” rebuttal, Kim took to Twitter in true modern comeback style.

“Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless,” she tweeted.

You know what else is careless, Kim? Marrying someone on television in front of 10 million people and then filing for divorce 72 days later.

We digress.

Hamm appeared this morning on “The Today Show” and didn’t back down from his prior remarks. In fact, he added more fuel to the fire.

“I don’t think they were careless. I think they were accurate,” Hamm said about his Kardashian comments, according to Radar Online. “It’s a part of our culture that I certainly don’t identify with, and I don’t really understand the appeal of it other than in a sort of car crash sensibility.”

He did, however, give Kardashian and the reality sect some credit for having a place in pop culture.

“There are a lot of channels on the dials and those channels need to be filled up with things: It’s different strokes for different folks.”

You’ve to admit though, Jon — Kim has managed to make millions off of being “stupid.” Some would say that’s downright genius.
