Jon Stewart's comeback tour continues at the Bell House

Jon Stewart could only sit on the sidelines of the sideshow that is this election season for so long. He lasted less than a year in retirement on his New Jersey farm before briefly resurrecting “The Daily Show” last week, but this week’s pop-up appearance was a bit more personal.

On Thursday night, Stewart stopped by the live taping of the 2 Dope Queens podcast at Brooklyn's Bell House to wish co-host (and former “Daily Show” correspondent) Jessica Williams a happy birthday. As is the responsibility of birthday toastmakers, he told stories about Williams, including knowing he wanted to hire her five seconds into Williams' audition tape. Then she roasted his old-man dance moves to bring it all back to funny again.
