And they say the movie star system is dead. Apparently Julia Roberts can still command a hefty paycheck, at least when it's with her "Pretty Woman" director, Garry Marshall. Roberts' role in "Mother's Day" called for a total of four days of shooting, and for her troubles she was paid $3 million. Nice work if you can get it. But was it worth it? The film — which was utterly trashed by critics — brought in $8.3 million its opening weekend. So they've at least made enough to pay for Roberts, right?
