Justin Bieber ruffles PETA’s feathers

If you haven’t seen the hilariously ridiculous photos, Justin Bieber’s dad threw one of the tackiest engagement parties in history, replete with a Batmobile, hot women dressed up as Wonder Woman and Captain America —no, really —and a live tiger. Oh, and a freshly buzz-cutted, stone-faced Justin.

In all the pictures, the Biebs refuses to crack the slightest of grins, even when petting the giantjungle cat. And this latest development probably won’t help in turning his frown upside down: PETA is up in arms over the tiger’s presence at the party and Justin’s photo op with it.

“Exotic animals used for entertainment are usually torn away from their mothers at a young age, beaten into submission by trainers and forced to live in cramped enclosures. They may even be fed sedatives so that they’re docile during events and parties like the one Justin attended,” the organization says in a statement. “Tigers used in this way are denied everything that they need to be happy, and we can only imagine that the tiger Justin posed with has experienced a life of misery.”

At least he and the tiger canbond over that?
