Justin Timberlake is gearing up to release his first new solo single since 2013’s “The 20/20 Experience.” The singer has been hyping his new tune by hashtagging # — unsurprisingly the song’s title — counting down to its inevitable release.

Select parties — radio stations, production partners, maybe Pharrell — appear to have some knowledge of Timberlake’s upcoming direction, which apparently skews “dance MJ meets BILL WITHERS disco.” According to a teaser clip Timberlake posted to his Instagram that includes the first few seconds of the track, that sounds pretty accurate.
Some have speculated whether this is the beginning of a full-length TBA album from Timberlake, but the Instagram clue ends with a tuft of blue hair, implying the song may be for DreamWorks Animation’s “Trolls” opening in November. Timberlake will voice a troll named Branch (alongside Anna Kendrick) and served as executive music producer for the film.
