Madonna has been many things: pop princess, sexy provocateur, English gentry, South American dictator. Obviously, there is only one persona left for her to adopt: cosplaying "Game of Thrones" geek.
Yes, it appears that one of the world's biggest pop stars is just as obsessed with the fight for the Iron Throne as the rest of us nerds. The Material Girl Instagrammed the above pic of herself dressed up as Daenerys Targaryen for her annual Purim party. Purim is a Jewish holiday during which kids (and Madonna) dress up in costume, which Madonna celebrates every year thanks to her devotion to Kabbalah. "Happy Purim!!!!! All Hail All Queens! ##certainty," she captioned the pic.
Madonna makes a pretty good Daenerys, I'd say. They do have a lot in common: They've both clawed their way up from nothing, they're both bottle blondes (come on, look at Daenerys' eyebrows — she's a Clairol girl), and if anyone in our world ever breastfeeds baby dragons and trains them to slay her enemies, it'd be Madonna. The only reason we know that hasn't happened yet is that Lady Gaga is still running around.
