Mariah Carey’s brother: Mariah, you in danger, girl

Apparently Mariah Carey’s family has a proud tradition of hyperbole and melodrama, as her brother, Morgan is a bit worried about her right now. Well, more than a bit: “She’ll die just like Whitney Houston,” he says, according to Radar Online. But why exactly is Morgan concerned about Mariah’s potential demise? Because the singer, currently doing that whole Las Vegas residency thing, “is struggling on a number of levels,” he says, claiming that she’s on a steady diet of alcohol and prescription drugs.

“She’s pushed away the only people who’ve been trustworthy. She does not have a support system, and she is not mentally capable,” he says. “I can’t say that I have ever been around her when she was sober, and that’s very scary.” I guess maybe he’s hoping she’s reading this?
