Miley Cyrus hosted SNL last night and poked fun at herself in a remake of her hit music video "We Can't Stop." The remake is called "We Did Stop (the Government)" and Cyrus and Taram Killam played sexed up versions of Michele Bachmann and John Boehner triumphantly celebrating the shutdown. Watch out for elephant backpacks, a french fried version of the Capitol and John Boehner's likeness in just a white tank and skimpy bottoms.

Cyrus performed an acoustic version of the song and also sang her newest single "Wrecking Ball." She also mocked her VMA performance in a skit in which she is visited by the ghost of Miley past, who warns her that the world is not ready for her racy duet with Robin Thicke. Vanessa Bayer isn't the best Miley impersonator, but Cyrus keeps the skit together and Robin Thicke and Will Smith-lookalikes provide laughs.

Viewers looking for a shocking stunt were sorely disappointed, as Cyrus took her role hosting Saturday Night Live seriously and kept it all relatively tame, even with a part in a "Fifty Shades of Grey" skit.
