Monday gossip roundup: Kristen Stewart has a puncture wound

While no further trouble seems to be coming Amanda Bynes‘ way from her recent hit-and-run incident, the same can’t be said of her arrest for drinking under the influence last month. In fact, formal charges are reportedly pending for the former Nickelodeon star, according to Radar Online. “Amanda Bynes refused to take a breathalyzer test — or blood test — which is required under California law when someone is arrested for a DUI,” a source says. “Bynes will be officially charged with refusal to take a chemical test in connection with being arrested on suspicion of DUI.” The charge is expected to come in the next two weeks.

While she was pregnant with daughter Maxwell, Jessica Simpson admitted she’d had a dream about giving birth in a leopard-print caftan. So, did her dream prove prophetic? Not quite, as it turns out. A source close to Simpson says that the dream spurred her to search for the item in real life, though while “she did find one online, it wasn’t quite leopard but it was a gorgeous pattern,” according to Hollyscoop. “Sadly, I don’t think they allowed her to give birth in it,” the source adds. “She was wearing another pretty caftan today, though.” Simpson may have found a new signature look.

Debra Messing is opening up for the first time about her divorce from husband of 20 years Daniel Zelman, admitting that “till death do us part” might be asking a bit much these days. “I think the institution of marriage is a noble thing. I think the idea of a partner for life is incredibly romantic,” Messing tells Ladies Home Journal. “But now we’re living to 100. A hundred years ago people were dying at age 37. Till death do us part was a much different deal.” Messing is reportedly dating her “Smash” co-star Will Chase, with rumors circulating that their relationship had something to do with the divorce. Coincidentally, on “Smash” Messing’s character’s marriage is threatened after she has an affair with an actor — played by Chase. “The challenge that caused in her marriage was also something I related to, and had experienced myself,” Messing admits.

A round of reshoots on the final “Twilight” movie has proved painful for Kristen Stewart, who admits she suffered a “puncture wound” to her foot while re-filming a vampire hunting scene in Vancouver, Canada last week, she admitted to Jay Leno. “I wasn’t trying to have ultimate swag when I walked out — I hurt my foot,” she told the talk show host after limping during her entrance. “I wasn’t trying to get out of wearing heels either. Puncture wound, promise.”

Anna Paquin knows what works for her body when it comes to high-profile events. “I’ve spent a lot of time figuring out what looks good for my body for fittings, and I’ve taken notes,” the “True Blood” star tells Fashion magazine. “I’m 5-foot-4 and change. I know I will never be like Gisele Bundchen, and I also know I will never be a hip-less, ass-less supermodel.” That realization has certainly had an influence on how she view stepping out: “I’m not a ball gown kind of girl. I don’t think the red carpet is my prom,” she says. “I prefer edgier cuts and darker designs because they suit me.”

Whitney Houston‘s family have reportedly brought back security guards to patrol the grounds of the New Jersey cemetery where the late singer is buried to ward off thieves tempted by the approximately $500,000 worth of jewels with which she was buried, according to the Daily Star. Houston is said to be interred in a gold-lined coffin that itself is worth around $20,000. “There is a very genuine fear that her coffin will be targeted by grave robbers,” a source told the newspaper at the time of Houston’s burial, when guards were initially employed. “The fact she was buried with such valuable jewelery is just an invitation to sickos.”
