The 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards aired Monday night and the award show honored and celebrated the biggest names in TV shows and films.

This year, Netflix received 14 nominations for its popular TV shows and original films, including “Bird Box” starring Sandra Bullock and “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before,” which stars Lana Condor and Noah Centineo.

HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and Marvel’s “Avengers: Endgame” earned best TV show and best movie awards this year.

U.S Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg won the best real-life hero award during the 2019 MTV Movie & TV awards.  Her documentary “RGB” received a nomination in the best documentary category, but the shocking Lifetime documentary “Surviving R. Kelly” took home the award last night.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took home the MTV Generation Award and Jada Pinkett Smith received MTV’s Trailblazer award.
