Netflix has announced that it will be streaming a series of new standup specials. The comedians involved? Bill Cosby, Chelsea Peretti (or Gina from "Brooklyn 99," as so many of us know and love her), Bill Burr and Jim Jefferies. The Cosby special will be called "77," in honor of his 77th birthday. It will be released at midnight on November 28.
This follows the news that they'd be adding comedy specials from Chelsea Handler, along with a new show from her. While Netflix has long had a solid collection of standup specials available on its streaming roster, these moves demonstrate the company's continued interest in making itself known more for new content than the place to catch up on old episodes of TV shows you forgot existed.
