Donor-conceived children are having a moment. Hot on the heels of "Delivery Man," a just-released movie in which a character played by Vince Vaughn learns he's fathered more than 500 children through sperm donations, MTV is releasing a real-life version of similar events, albeit on a much smaller scale.

Seventeen-year-old Breeanna was conceived via an anonymous sperm donor and raised by her lesbian parents. Now that she's a teen, she's on a mission to learn more about herself. After visiting the Donor Sibling Registry, she learned that she has 15 half-siblings, and MTV will follow her quest to meet them all, as well as her dad. (Hi dad! Surprise!)

In the first episode, airing tonight, Breeanna meets two of her half-siblings, who are part of a Jewish family in Atlanta. Unlike Breeanna, her half-brother has no interest in meeting their donor father. The episode sparks an interesting conversation about modern families and self-discovery.

"Generation Cryo" premieres Nov. 25 at 10/9c on MTV.
