In 2012, Olivia Munn publicly acknowledged suffering from trichotillomania, an anxiety disorder in which the sufferer pulls out their own hair. “I don’t bite my nails, but I rip out my eyelashes,” Munn told the New York Daily News in an interview.

“It doesn’t hurt, but it’s really annoying. Every time I run out of the house, I have to stop and pick up a whole set of fake eyelashes.” And according to a new interview with Marie Claire, she is still trying to overcome the disorder.

When asked what is on her mind, she replied, “Trying to overcome my social anxiety,” she tells the magazine. “It’s manifested in trichotillomania, a disorder that gives me the urge to pull out my eyelashes.” The “Newsroom” actress is also working on another disorder, which is probably more familiar to most of us. “I struggle with wanting to work out,” she says. “I hike, surf and dance, but I think I’m going to start doing Pilates — though I’m not happy about it.”
