Pals say Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are doomed

All signs point to Miley Cyrus barreling right back into her relationship with ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth, and apparently her friends aren’t thrilled.

First, the exes spent the holidays together with his family in Australia, then she started sporting her engagement ring again just as she was spotted driving a U-Haul over to his Malibu home. So what could possibly go wrong?

According to her friends, who think Cyrus is crazy and the relationship is “doomed,” a whole lot. “She is convinced that he is the man that she is meant to be with,” a source tells Radar Online. “Liam already broke Miley’s heart once, and a lot of people around her are warning her that he will do it again. But she is not listening to anyone right now, even her mother, Tish.”

But friends and family be damned, how are things going over in Hemsworth-Cyrus Land? “They needed time apart to realize how much they love each other and want to be together. They are both a little bit older and wiser now. They’ve lived a lot in the last year few years and think things will be different,” a source tells E! News.”They’ve spent a lot of time at each other’s homes in the last few months reconnecting. They haven’t gone out much. They wanted to work on rebuilding things before they went public. They are both very happy about where things are and going to see what happens.”

Not if her friends have anything to say about it.
