It’s been a good week for Drew Scott, one half of HGTV’s “Property Brothers.” (He’s the metrosexual real estate brother, in case you get him and his twin Jonathan mixed up.) On Tuesday, Drew proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Linda Phan, at Piano Piano in Toronto reports People magazine.

The 38-year-old told People that he had been planning the surprise proposal for weeks, and apparently it was worth it. He gushed about his fiancé, “I’ve never met another woman like her and once you do, you want to be with her forever.”Drew recorded his own version of Train’s “Marry Me” to be played at the restaurant and had a cake decorated with illustrations from "Oh The Places You’ll Go," Phan’s favorite book. He changed the words to “Oh The Places We’ll Go.” After she said yes, they went to another venue where friends and family were waiting to party with the happy couple.

We’re glad to know that HGTV isn’t all divorce and exorcisms now.
