On Aug. 16-17, Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Orchestra return for one more weekend of partying like it’s 1925 on Governors Island.

Dress your flapper best — everyone else will, for the summer’s second (and last, alas) Jazz Age Lawn Party. The event starts at 11 a.m. each day, with dance lessons (and contests), a car exhibition, vintage portraits … but who needs activities while the city parades its finery all around you?

Bring a picnic (no alcohol though) or grab some period-style grub curated by Jimmy No. 43’s Jimmy Carbone, and enjoy performances from the likes of the tap-dancing Minsky Sisters and classic crooner Queen Esther. (Note: Food and drink are cash only on the day, but you can prepurchase food and drink tickets.) To get there, grab the boat next to the Staten Island Ferry in lower Manhattan.
