Over the weekend, Beyonce casually dropped a new video, “Formation (Dirty),” that took the online world by storm. But one particular lyric got a bit of extra attention — and with good reason. In the middle of the track, she slips in, “When he f— me good, I’ll take his a— to Red Lobster.” Which is just plain awesome.

So immediately the denizens of Twitter turned to the seafood chain for a response — any response, really — to the epic endorsement. Personally, I was hoping they’d just adopt it as their new slogan, but no. Early Sunday morning, the crack team of marketers at Red Lobster finally released, “‘Cheddar Bey Biscuits’ has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?” before hashtagging the song and at-mentioning Beyonce. Just … no. I mean, we shouldn’t be surprised that Red Lobster would disappoint — it’s a familiar feeling, after all — but still.

On the bright side, I hear there’s a certain chain restaurant that suddenly has an opening for a social media manager.
