OK, so that headline was a little misleading. This gem comes courtesy of a YouTube user who goes by MJJLegacyHD, and it seems like the clip was cut up from some MTV special back in the 1980s.

And we would thank you for formally addressing us as Metro, and then we would respond that it was on this very day in 1988 (Jan. 23) that Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel" hit No. 1 on the U.S. singles chart. Yes, 26 years ago today! But why is Sheryl Crow — a star in her own right — parading around the stage with a theatrically large hairdo? Because before she was famous, she was a backup singer for the King of Pop.
So he wasn't really flirting with her, but, well, putting on a show, which was something Michael Jackson was really good at doing.
