Yes, Will Ferrell has saturated the media over the past few weeks leading up to “Anchorman 2,” and pushed the “enough already” factor in a way that was reminiscent of the Miley Cyrus summer of 2013. (Remember when she was so everywhere and then the album actually came out, and the world was like, “Oh, that thing wasn’t even out yet?”)
Anyway, for all of his in-character overexposure, his feat on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Thursday night may be enough to forgive all and get us to actually see the movie. Yes, Ron Burgundy took the stage with none other than Yacht Rock prince Christopher Cross!
The pair sang Cross’ classic, “Ride Like the Wind,” with Ferrell (in tribute to the Yacht Rock genre) rocking a captain’s hat. You stay classy!
