Surely it’s no coincidence that racist Big Brother star Aaryn’s name is an anagram for “Aryan.”

With “Big Brother 15” already underway, this summer is already proving to be full of surprises. Every season host Julie Chen warns the contestants to “expect the unexpected.” Even with the warning, viewers likely had no clue what would be in store for them this summer. The producers of “Big Brother” seem to have a knack for finding the most ridiculous and downright inappropriate characters to entertain their summer viewers three days a week.
However, this season’s cast has already stirred up quite a few controversies.
Aaryn
There may have been a mix-up on her birth certificate. Perhaps her name was supposed to be Aryan. This contestant’s racist and homophobic comments have outraged viewers all across America to the point of spurring an online petition devoted to expelling her from the game. This is all after she was already fired from her modeling agency for the same reasons. One word of advice: In this show, Big Brother is always watching— and that includes America too. Oh, and you probably shouldn’t tell an Asian contestant to “shut up and go and make some rice” on a television show hosted by Julie Chen, a woman of Asian descent.
Gina-Marie
Why is she trying to give Staten Island a worse reputation than it already acquired from “Jersey Shore”? With her outrageous racist comments, she seems to be transforming into Aaryn’s sidekick. But the real question is: Why can’t she stop crying? After the eviction of Nick (a man she has known for two weeks but claims to have a real connection with), GM has proved herself to be quite a consistent player — in the crying contest, that is. Maybe she should stop crying about Nick, and start crying about getting fired from her day job after dropping the N-bomb on live TV.
Jessie
Did you even come into the Big Brother House to play the game, or to find a man? Because you’re not doing either. It was uncomfortable watching you mimic the swamp monster in the Power of Veto competition. But it was downright painful watching you follow Nick around the house in hopes of sparking a “showmance.”
Jeremy
He calls himself “The Cherokee Wonder” and has flaunted a cocky attitude all around the house with his “guns-a-blazing” mindset. Too bad it didn’t work in his favor. The show is only a couple of weeks in and he has already been in a super-guy alliance (that ultimately crumbled in the wake of Nick’s eviction), won the Power of Veto to remove himself from the block and engaged in a “showmance” with Kaitlin (that he is already regretting from his home television). That was all pretty impressive for a guy with such a huge target on his back, but not impressive enough as he was backdoored by Helen, of all people. But being evicted hasn’t seemed to rock the Cherokee’s opinion of himself as he exited the house saying, “I’m a champion when I eat, sleep and poop.”
