Did you know Rumer Willis could sing? Unless you’re living in Los Angeles and frequenting The Sayers Club, probably not, but Willis about to make a massive stage upgrade to Broadway, taking over the role of singing jailbird Roxie Hart in “Chicago” for eight weeks beginning Aug. 18.

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ daughter just got her dancing bona fides sorted by winning Season 20 of “Dancing with the Stars,” though she had to finish out the touring production carefully after some stress fractures in her right foot.

And though her singing so far has been largely limited to Los Angeles clubs, she’s turned in some noteworthy covers, including Taylor Swift’s “Out of the Woods” with Pyson Lewis. Willis is also working on an album with Linda Perry, who’s written and produced songs for Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani.

“Chicago” has attracted many celebrity names over its 18-year run, most recently Brandy Norwood also in the role of Roxie Hart until Aug 2. Melanie Griffith, Sofia Vergara and Taye Diggs have all done stints in the show.
