Sandra Bullock lied to us all about her second adoption
Sandra Bullock said she wasn't adopting a daughter. Sandra Bullock lied.
So remember in late October when a reporter congratulated Sandra Bullock on adopting a little girl and Bullock insisted the story was totally untrue? Yeah, not so much. "If I had a second adopted child, everyone would be hearing about it," she said. And well, everyone's hearing about it now. It turns out she was just waiting for the exclusive deal she'd given People magazine to announce the news.

"When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here," Bullock says of her new daughter, whom she's now willing to admit she's adopted. "I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time." Laila joins her first adopted child, Louis, who is apparently already all about the whole being a big brother thing. "Louis spearheaded this whole journey," she says. And that's a lot of responsibility for a 5-year-old.

While I'm thrilled for Bullock and her family, I do wonder how long it will take for me to be able to trust her again.
