On tour to promote her latest album, "Back to Forever," Lissie is traveling between cities practically every single day. Sure, she might play a little guitar while riding in the van or waiting in the airport terminal, but a lot of the time is spent killing time, and murdering it with the help of her smartphone. We asked her about the apps (and games) she can't live without.

I like the challenge. It helps to pass time and I'd like to think it's good for my brain.

I get to travel to lots of cool places and spend lots of time away from family and friends while on the road so it's a good way to share what I'm up to and see what my friends and family are up to as well.
It's a great tool for letting my followers know about shows and sharing content, all info about what we're doing really.. I can thank those who come to the gigs and the encouraging feedback keeps me going!
On the road I don't eat very well and drink too much and get a bit of a gut! Haha! We are sitting for long periods of time whether in planes, buses or cars and this app helps me be mindful of what I'm eating and lets me set exercise goals for myself and know how many calories I burn in relation to my intake.
United Airlines app
I'm a big nerd about my mileage. I stay loyal to United and had flown 100,000 miles by September of this year. Since that gives me status I'm always fiddling with my app to make sure I'm eligible for upgrades, get a good seat, etc.. So that those overseas flights are as comfy as possible. It gives me updates about my flight status as well so I can make arrangements when flights are delayed or cancelled.
