Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart are teaming up for the buddy comedy of all buddy comedies — except it’s more of an unscripted reality series/cooking competition where they serve dinner to their friends on VH1. The dream duo will star on a new TV series with working title, “Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party,” in which the two play host to a rotating cast of their celebrity friends.
In case this seems like an unlikely pairing, D-O-double-G and the lifestyle host have a history of small screen appearances together — including the time he was on her show to make “special Christmas brownies” and when they quizzed each other on ABC’s “$100,000 Pyramid.” Or as Snoop tells Variety: “My homegirl, Martha and I have a special bond that goes back. We’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!”
The series is set to premiere this fall and will air weekly on VH1. We can't wait to see how Martha rolls, too, Snoop.
