No one celebrates Halloween like Salem! For the whole month, all across Salem, tons of Halloween fun and festivities are available — including cemetery tours, fright nights, haunted houses and carnivals. To celebrate this special occasion, the Massachusetts Bay Transport Authority has announced an increased train service between Boston and Salem.

Tales of the Night: Drumlin Farm

Tonight and tomorrow, 6:30 p.m., Mass Audubon’s Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary, 208 South Great Rd., Lincoln, $10

Take a 30-minute drive out to Lincoln and enjoy a night of spooky fun in a farm setting. Creepy hayrides, ghoulish graveyards and frightening food await your family. Don’t forget to bring a flashlight to light your way!

Halloween Prowl

Friday to Sunday, 5:30 p.m., 293 Moose Hill St., Sharon, $9

Come dressed in your Halloween costume and take part in an hour-long trek along a candlelit trail where you will learn about the history of the festival and enjoy skits put up by costumed characters. Be sure to collect stamps for your Prowl Passport after completing the walk!

Bring your kids for trick-or-treating from store to store throughout the Center. Fun activities such as face painting, pumpkin decorating and magic shows will also add to the fun factor for your Sunday afternoon. Donate $4 to Room to Grow and you will get a trick-or-treat bag.

Halloween Zoo Howl: Franklin Park Zoo

Franklin Park Zoo has a whole range of activities and games. Dress up your kids in their Halloween best to take part in a costume contest or summon up some courage and go through the haunted maze together. Also, check out some of the spooky souvenirs that will be on sale that day!

NERF Night: Halloween Zombie!

Scary Good Fundraiser

The Devotion School will be transformed into a Haunted House suitable for all ages. There will also be a costume party, and you just may win a prize. All proceeds will go to the Children’s Hospital Boston.
