No one celebrates Halloween like Salem! For the whole month, all across Salem, tons of Halloween fun and festivities are available — including cemetery tours, fright nights, haunted houses and carnivals. To celebrate this special occasion, the Massachusetts Bay Transport Authority has announced an increased train service between Boston and Salem.
Tales of the Night: Drumlin Farm
Tonight and tomorrow, 6:30 p.m., Mass Audubon’s Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary, 208 South Great Rd., Lincoln, $10
Take a 30-minute drive out to Lincoln and enjoy a night of spooky fun in a farm setting. Creepy hayrides, ghoulish graveyards and frightening food await your family. Don’t forget to bring a flashlight to light your way!
Halloween Prowl
Friday to Sunday, 5:30 p.m., 293 Moose Hill St., Sharon, $9
Come dressed in your Halloween costume and take part in an hour-long trek along a candlelit trail where you will learn about the history of the festival and enjoy skits put up by costumed characters. Be sure to collect stamps for your Prowl Passport after completing the walk!
Pru Boo
Sunday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.,

Bring your kids for trick-or-treating from store to store throughout the Center. Fun activities such as face painting, pumpkin decorating and magic shows will also add to the fun factor for your Sunday afternoon. Donate $4 to Room to Grow and you will get a trick-or-treat bag.
Halloween Zoo Howl: Franklin Park Zoo
Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Franklin Park Zoo, One Franklin Park Road, Adults $16, Children $10
Franklin Park Zoo has a whole range of activities and games. Dress up your kids in their Halloween best to take part in a costume contest or summon up some courage and go through the haunted maze together. Also, check out some of the spooky souvenirs that will be on sale that day!
NERF Night: Halloween Zombie!
Saturday, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Guard Up Inc., 141 Middlesex Turnpike, Burlington, $20
You are part of a corporation’s security division. Your mission is to battle creatures that have been subjected to some questionable experimentation. So grab your NERF blaster and head out there for an adrenaline-fueled night. Kids below 12 should not be brought onto the battlefield.
Creepy Chocolate Bar at the Langham Hotel
Saturday, 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., Langham Hotel, 250 Franklin St., $40 adults $28 children
Treat yourself to some spooky special chocolate delights. It is highly encouraged to come dressed in costume, while you feast from the buffet that features more than 85 items at Cafe Fleuri in Langham Hotel.
Scary Good Fundraiser
Sunday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., The Devotion School Gymnasium, 345 Harvard Street, Brookline, Adults $10, Children $5
The Devotion School will be transformed into a Haunted House suitable for all ages. There will also be a costume party, and you just may win a prize. All proceeds will go to the Children’s Hospital Boston.
Halloween DJ Skate Event

Get ready for a really chilly Halloween this weekend — head out to the Porrazzo Rink and enjoy an afternoon of skating while an in-house DJ spins music and vendors selling Halloween candies. Costume contests will also be held on that day, so come dressed in your scariest costumes!
Fear at Fenway

For the first time, Spooky World has come to haunt Boston with spectacular attractions, including Hancock Hill Cemetery, Brigham Manor and 3D Freakout. For the weak-hearted or families with young kids, weekend matinee shows are tailored to be less scary.
Halloween Lunch Cruise

DJ entertainment will be provided throughout lunch, and there will be an open soda and juice bar! In addition, goodie bags will be given to all kids and there will also be a costume parade for them.
