Next time you’re in your car and you buckle your seat belt and switch on your Bluetooth to avoid chatting while driving, pop in some Coldplay to ensure ultimate safety.
The British band’s “The Scientist” landed on a list of “ultimate safe driving songs” compiled by Confused.com, the creator of driving app MotorMate.
The optimum music volume for driving is 55 to 65 decibels, according to London Metropolitan University professor Simon Moore’s conclusions.
To complete your safe road-trip playlist choose songs such as Norah Jones’ “Come Away With Me,” Bon Iver’s, “Skinny Love” and Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer.”
On the opposite side of the spectrum, the Black Eyed Peas’ “Hey Mama,” topped Confused.com’s list of top 10 dangerous driving songs. Other dangers songs include M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes” and Nickelback’s “How You Remind Me.”
