But her dad doesn’t want her to do it. “Why would a girl of Lindsay’s caliber stoop to doing a movie about a stripper who was a porn queen who got raped by seven executives at one time and wound up dying? How dark is that?” Michael Lohan tells the Sunday Times magazine. “What father would want to see his daughter in that kind of position? The best thing for Lindsay would be to step back and not do anything for a while.”
2 George Michael was released from prison in England after serving four weeks of an eight-week sentence for drug possession and driving under the influence, according to the BBC. After one week in London’s tough Pentonville Prison, the pop star was moved to a less-intense jail in Suffolk. “Believe me when I tell you that in the last three weeks there have been no tears, no anxiety, no bullying — in fact not so much as a sleepless night for me,” Michael said in a statement upon his release. “On the contrary, I have been treated with kindness by fellow in-mates and prison staff alike, and as far as I can tell, I have received no special treatment of any kind whatsoever.”
3 In between movie shoots in Louisiana, Kristen Stewart made a quick trip to Los Angeles, where she and “Twilight” co-star and rumored boyfriend Robert Pattinson were spotted having a cozy night out at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills, according to X17. The pair shared a drink at the hotel’s rooftop bar before leaving together. Stewart just completed filming “On the Road” in New Orleans, and production on the fourth “Twilight” film is said to be filming soon in Louisiana.
4 Gwyneth Paltrow admits breaking into Hollywood wasn’t easy, even with famous parents. “When I was just starting out, someone suggested that we finish a meeting in the bedroom. I left. I was pretty shocked,” she tells Elle magazine. “I could see how someone who didn’t know better might worry, ‘My career will be ruined if I don’t [perform this sexual act with] this guy!’”
