Cooper wants in on ‘Gatsby’

Bradley Cooper hopes to join Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire in Baz Luhrmann’s new version of “The Great Gatsby,” he tells the New York Times. “To me, he’s the best character in the book. He’s so complicated,” Cooper says of Tom Buchanan, a part which remains un-cast. “I don’t even know if I’m on Luhrmann’s radar,” He admits. “Maybe he’ll read this article after the role’s cast and say, ‘Oh. Ha. Yeah, that guy was never going to get it.’”
