Jennifer Aniston suffered the loss of her dog, Norman, recently, her rep confirms to People magazine. The 15-year-old Corgi-terrier mix passed away “a few weeks ago,” according to the rep. “He was an old dog and it was just his time.” Norman often traveled with Aniston, she told the magazine last July: “He’s my baby boy. Norman goes with me on location — I’ve got to take Norman,” she said.

A little Sarkozy in the works?

French president Nicolas Sarkozy and wife Carla Bruni have been dodging speculation that Bruni is pregnant for some time, but his father may have just spilled the beans. “The two do not want to know the gender in advance, but I’m sure it will be a girl and as beautiful as Carla,” the president’s father, Pal Sarkozy, tells German newspaper Bild. The president’s office has still refused to comment on the story.

Pitt’s changing priorities

Now that he’s a father of six, Brad Pitt’s priorities in choosing acting roles have changed a bit, he explains to People magazine. “I think of everything I do now that my kids are going to see when they grow up and how are they going to feel,” Pitt says. “But they know me as a dad, and I hope they’ll just think of me as a pretty damn good actor.”
