Penelope Cruz will shelter son

Penelope Cruz
is hoping to keep her newborn son, Leonardo, as far from the limelight as she and husband Javier Bardem can, she tells Vogue. “I want my son — and my kids if I have more — to grow up in a way that is as anonymous as possible,” Cruz explains. “The fact that his father and I have chosen to do the work that we do doesn’t give anybody the right to invade our privacy.”

Chaz Bono gets Cher

Chaz Bono understands his mom Cher’s reluctance to accept his decision to undergo sexual reassignment surgery, he tells Popeater. “I think she was surprised. I think she didn’t expect people to be able to handle it as well as they have,” Bono says. “I really thought that we had come farther than I think my mom did. I think that’s probably just a generational thing.”

Russell loves Hudson’s exes

No one takes Kate Hudson’s breakups harder than stepfather Kurt Russell, it seems, as Russell tells CTV that he became very close with several of her exes. “I got to say I love Chris Robinson, loved him, still do,” Russell says. “I loved Alex [Rodriguez]. We had a tremendous time together. I think Kate has been fortunate with all the men she’s gotten close to.” Russell is just as taken with Hudson’s fiance, Matt Bellamy, as well: “He’s an interesting guy and a fun guy to be around. I’m just happy that once again, she has someone that the whole family can feel confident in and close to,” he says.
