A small wedding for McCartney

While Paul McCartney is excited to tie the knot with fiancee Nancy Shevell, don’t expect a lavish event from the former Beatle, according to the Daily Telegraph. “Paul loves Nancy very much, but does not want a big wedding,” a source says. The couple will reportedly wed in a small, private ceremony in London before flying to Shevell’s native New York, where they will hold a small party for her family and friends. It’s a far cry from McCartney’s wedding to Heather Mills on the grounds of a castle, which featured a five-minute fireworks display.

Eric Dane heads to rehab

“Grey’s Anatomy” star Eric Dane, who is expecting his second child with wife Rebecca Gayheart, quietly checked himself into rehab last month as a “preventive measure” to deal with a dependency on painkillers, according to Star magazine. “Eric felt things spiraling out of control and decided he needed to get some help,” a source says. The actor’s rep confirms the rehab stint, saying in a statement that Dane “voluntarily checked himself into a treatment facility to help him get off of pain medication that he was prescribed for a sports injury that he suffered over the recent hiatus. He reports back to work next week. Business as usual.”
