If you've ever thought, "Terry Richardson's photography is weirdly sweaty and sexual, but he's probably a really good guy in real life," well, you really see the best in people, and that's commendable, but today is not your day, Pollyanna.
Last night, model Emma Appleton tweeted a screenshot of a text that appeared to be from Richardson. "If I can f--- you i will book you in ny for a.shoot for Vogue," it read.
Appleton confirmed that she wasn't joking. "@lewisthegreatyeah, I was like whaaat and he said yes or no?" she tweeted.
Appleton has since deleted the screenshot from her Instagram and shut down her Twitter account altogether - not because she's rescinding her claim, but because she didn't want "abuse or attention," she told Buzzfeed.
"Beginning to wish I hadn't posted that...it doesn't matter who you are or the what the industry is, just be a decent human being," she tweeted just before closing her account.
"The fact people think this is acceptable blows my f---ing mind. See ya."
Richardson's representative claims that he never texted Appleton. However, Appleton is just the latest model to accuse the superstar photographer of wildly inappropriate behavior - last yearformer model Jamie Peck alleged that mid-shoot, Richardson asked to play with her tampon, and insisted he be addressed as Uncle Terry.
