Who would you shell out big for? Beyonce and Jay Z? King of Leon? Avicii? According to SubHub‘s total sales for 2014, One Direction is the most popular band/artist to see in concert. It just goes to show that teens (and their credit-card holding parents) are running the show when it comes to music sales. Another big demographic buying concert tickets: men who love rocking out to the likes Bruce Springsteen, Widespread Panic, Tool, Phish and The Allman Brothers Band. Those five acts had the highest percentage of male buyers to female buyers. So what concerts are the girls going to? Backstreet Boys concerts had the highest female to male ratio, with Taylor Swift, 5 Seconds of Summer, Ariana Grande and One Direction coming in close behind.
